About Laetitia
Laetitia first started asking for a piano when she was three years old. Her persistence paid off when she finally started taking piano lessons at the age of nine and never looked back! Her dual passions of music and teaching guided her education and professional life from then on. She moved on from private lessons to the Geneva Conservatory of Music at fourteen years old, where she would eventually pursue her professional studies after high school. During those years, she spent much of her free time playing for local choral groups and churches.
Her interest in teaching guided her to eventually spend more time in the classroom than on the stage. She focused her professional studies at the Conservatory in music theory and instruction, obtaining specializations in preschool, elementary, and adolescent education. After completing her studies at the Conservatory, she pursued graduate study at the Institute Jaques-Dalcroze, which further honed her teaching skills and exposed her to cutting edge instructional methods. She has taught music and piano in private and public schools in both France and Switzerland. Since moving to the United States in 2002, she has taught piano in Los Angeles and the greater Washington DC area.
